How to Make a Book
There are three kinds of books to choose from at Scribble Press.
CUEPRINTS, a 6-page fill-in-the-blanks story to finish and illustrate, with a photo of the author on the back cover
AUTHOR/ILLUSTRATOR KIT, includes a cover and 14 pages, ready for your story and illustrations. When you're done, we assemble and bind the book for you
CUSTOM BOOKS, for you to choose the perfect size and style for your special creation
Whether you come in to the Scribble Press studio, or order online, it's fun and easy to make a professional-looking book that you'll be proud to share with family and friends.
MAKING A BOOK IN THE STUDIO
First, choose the Cueprint or Author/Illustrator Kit you'd like to make. We'll take a digital photo of the Author for the back cover of the book, and you choose what color borders you want. Fill up an art caddy with all the pens and pencils you want while we print out the pages of your book. Then the most fun -- creating the book! Create your story and drawings for each page. When you're done, we bind the pages into a book that looks like you got it at a bookstore.
We can make extra copies, too, which make great gifts. You leave the studio with the book you've created!
How to Order Online
First, click on the Cueprint you want from the Shop Now page, and click on Add to Cart.
Choose which color border you want from the Color drop down menu.
If you have a photo of the author, you can include it on the back cover of the book for $5. Click yes to upload a photo, and enter the file name of the photo. Click Upload to send the photo. When the upload is complete, click on Add to Cart and continue the checkout process.
